The college has specialisation in almost every branch of engineering, started in 1951, with the college attracting students due to high placement and core sectors. The average salary of the student is about 3.71 LPA, and the top recruiters include Infosys and Wipro. Therefore, as an institution of education, the institution remains a favourite destination for aspiring engineers not just in Karnataka but across the country.</p>
