    Established in 1922, DU has grown to one of the largest Indain Universities  with over 6 Lacs students under UG, PG, PG diploma, and other programmes.Delhi University is listed among the country's most prestigious and reputed educational institutions. DU also has 91 colleges affiliated with it, with  over 80 departments, 23 centres, 16 faculty members and 3 institutes across Delhi.     Delhi University is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in India. It was founded in 1922 and has a long and distinguished history.
