Why is geography a subject of arts, if it is related to Science?

Geography is a field of science devoted to the study of the lands, the features, the inhabitants, and the phenomena of the Earth. It is, quite simply, about the world in which we live. Geography is considered a field of science by the majority because it uses the scientific method and upholds scientific principles and logic but in reality, it is a science with an element of social element in it. Geography is unique in bridging the social sciences (human geography) with the natural sciences (physical geography). Human geography concerns the understanding of the dynamics of cultures, societies and economies, and physical geography concerns the understanding of the dynamics of physical landscapes and the environment. Geography puts this understanding of social and physical processes within the context of places and regions - recognizing the great differences in cultures, political systems, economies, landscapes and environments across the world, and the links between them. Geography as a subject that studies physical phenomenon and interaction between different elements cannot be limited to be called social science. Geography is not just a social science, it is science with a social element to it. If you are interested in geography as a subject and career you may take this up whether is called BA in geography or B.Sc in geography.
