Why is IIIT Bangalore underrated?

<p>There could be many reasons why IIIT Bangalore is an underrated college. The biggest reason is that it is a public-private co-owned Institute. However, the institute has been ranked by several prominent raking bodies for its excellent academics, curriculum, faculty and infrastructure.IIIT Hyderabad is more famous for its coding culture than its research culture. Due to its massive participation in GSOC and MNC placements, the masses fail to realize that it's a research university. It has done excellent research in some areas.The difference in fees between IIIT Bangalore's iMTech course and a combined BTech + M.Tech programme at NITs or IITs could be due to various factors such as infrastructure, faculty, industry connections, and specialised curriculum offered by IIIT Bangalore.</p>

IIIT B organises a number of events gala dinner, a research symposium, and a cultural festival for students' personal growth.</p>
