    With the excellent faculty that IIIT Bangalore offers, that question is quite obvious. The answer to which is the thinking of majority of students that IIITs aren't as good as IITs or NITs, which is a complete myth. Also, the institute does not promote itself like others, it's the students and their placement records that do the task.

    There could be many reasons why IIIT Bangalore is an underrated college. The biggest reason is that it is a public-private co-owned Institute. However, the institute has been ranked by several prominent raking bodies for its excellent academics, curriculum, faculty and infrastructure.IIIT Hyderabad is more famous for its coding culture than its research culture. Due to its massive participation in GSOC and MNC placements, the masses fail to realize that it's a research university.     There could be many reasons why IIIT Bangalore is an underrated college. The biggest reason is that it is a public-private co-owned Institute. However, the institute has been ranked by several prominent raking bodies for its excellent academics, curriculum, faculty and infrastructure. IIIT B organises a number of events gala dinner, a research symposium, and a cultural festival for students' personal growth.
