    In collaboration with the Alfred P. Sloan School of Management (MIT),  The Ford Foundation and Indian industry, and the Government of West Bengal,  IIM Calcutta was established in the year 1961. Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta is ranked four by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) 2023 under the Management category. IIM Kolkata offers postgraduate, doctoral, and executive programmes to various students out of which MBA is the flagship course. The college is famous for its infrastructure and the placements it offer to students.
