    KVG College of Engineering is one of the best-known institutions for academic excellence, innovative research, and industry linkages. It has an excellent history of more than 30 years during which it has produced more than 10,000 successful engineers. It boasts of a remarkable placement record, wherein about 90 per cent of students got placed in companies like Infosys, TCS, and Wipro. The UGC (University Grants Commission) has also awarded the college 'the best engineering college in Karnataka'.     There are many reason by which the KVG College of Engineering gets the fame. Found in 1986 it was one of the earliest private engineering establishments at Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka. Keen in noting that it has consistently been among the best engineering colleges in Kerala on quality of education, learned professors and good placement records (around 80% of students land jobs at then reputed organisations like Infosys, WIPSys level and such. Faculty: Most of The college faculty are inexperienced and alumni of the same college. Some of the faculty members were very good. Most senior professors were teaching while I'm studying. Their teaching was good enough to understand the syllabus. Lecturers are not always friendly and are often easily irritable.
