LPU has around 30000+ Students across the campus in different professional Schools. I am a alumni of LPU and I can tell you take it is actually a good place for ambitious and focused people to study in. If you want to explore, learn, grow and want to get placed in good companies then I must say please go ahead and take admission. I will summarize you some of the key points of LPU - 1) LPU is having industrial oriented curriculum as per industry demand. 2) International exposure - students from all over the India plus International students are also studying here. 3) Placements - The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of students. Around 550+ companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. LPU becomes the favourite landing place for bulk recruiters like Cognizant Technology Solutions, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Amazon, Bosch Engineering, Meditab and many more 4) PEP classes - PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester that prepare you for placement drives. 5) Innovative and productive environment, more emphasize on practical sessions with the benefit of having ragging free campus. 6) You will get an online system I. e UMS ( university management system), in which you can access all the details like your time table, fee status, attendance and result record, exam, schedules and many more. LPU is having experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries, faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as LPU concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. At present there are around 70 faculty members from IIT, Iims, IIITs etc. 9)Tons of events - May it be Cultural, Sports or Academic. There are numerous events held in the University campus itself. If you like to dance/sing/act then you will have numerous cultural events, You get a handful of opportunities if you are sports guy. Let it be football, cricket, basketball anything. You will get many-many tournaments in every case. If you are a computer geek, you like coding and all that technological stuff. Yes, LPU is very famous; and for good reasons! It is after all one of the best private universities in India and I believe the best when it comes to providing an amazing holistic college experience. I am a part of the LPU family and I cannot stress enough how much I've learnt at LPU! This learning came not only through classes but also through the college festivals, the special workshops, and so many other experiences which I believe are only possible in a university like LPU. The university has been getting better and better with time reason why the popularity to has been increasing. I find college life extremely fulfilling and I believe LPU is determined to growing and becoming a hub for excellence; not just academic but cultural, sports, and other co-curricular activities too! Now coming to academics, LPU has some of the best-designed courses in the whole of India. Also, the vast variety of courses makes it an exceptional educational hub. The courses have several workshops and other activities ingrained in the syllabus to give students a better understanding of their respective subject and subject-related industries. There are also the following reasons that contribute to LPUs excellence and its popularity: Faculty: The faculty of LPU is just exceptional! All of them come from elite institutions and from all over the world. Not only are they extremely passionate about their respective subjects and teaching but they are also very supportive and offer guidance when needed; academically and otherwise. They sport a very friendly and supportive vibe which makes them very accessible to us students in times of doubts and when we need extra help with a subject. I'm very grateful to the staff at LPU. Hi there, I am an alumnus of LPU. I have done BCA at LPU is a place where a person can learn many things. The main thing I have learned their time management and discipline. LPU is famous because they did a lot of hard work to make their students successful and in return of that LPU got famous. LPU does have a beautiful campus that is spread over 600+ acres. It has an A+ infrastructure and which is remarkable. All the facilities are available on the campus itself, a student does not need to go outside for anything. On the campus, Central Library, Hospital facility is available 24*7 for staff and student, Shopping mall, Indoor Sports Stadium with 2 Olympic size Swimming Pools, Public/Private Sector Banks, ATM etc. The labs are well-equipped with the latest systems in place installed with up-to-date software, guided and monitored by the IT cell. The central library is equipped with millions of books for running courses as well as for extra studies. University Hospital caters for the medical needs of the university people with inbuilt pathological labs and physiotherapy services. A humongous ground located near the hostels ensures that each and everyone gets to access the sports and games which they want to play. The cricket, football and hockey fields can be cited along with the volleyball, basketball, tennis courts etc. The Division of Student Affairs ensures the cultural environment is maintained here.
