Why is MBA at IIM-A,B,C only regarded best while something like IIM-Trichy is not so revered?

Reputation of these institutes have got build over years mainly because of the success of their students in the corporate world. The new IIM's would take some time to come at par in reputation with the ones in Ahmedabad & Kolkata.
