Why is the duration of part-time MBA 3-years and full-time MBA 2-years?

This is so because in regular MBA you will be having the full-fledged classes at the institute from Monday to Friday which you won't get in part-time MBA. They generally have classes on weekends. So, go for 2-year MBA.
