Why is the fee for IIIT-H higher than the fee at IITs or NITs for BTech?

    IIIT Hyderabad provides modern, well-maintained residential amenities together with top-notch infrastructure, according to their official website. Most significantly, IT does not rely on yearly funding from the government to operate. Complete autonomy and high academic standards are made possible by this, albeit the cost is slightly higher. 

    Despite this, financial aid will be available to students whose household income is less than INR 8 LPA starting in the 2nd semester, provided they meet certain requirements.

    As per the official website, IIIT Hyderabad offers high-quality infrastructure and modern well-kept living facilities. And most importantly this, IIIT does not run on annual government grants. This allows complete autonomy and high academic standards, but does result in a slightly higher fee.
