However, to sort out the fee issues and unburden the students, the institute orovudes financial assistance at the campus to assist students. These are as follows:</p><ol><li>State Bank of India (IIIT branch) guarantees an SBI Scholar student loan to an student who secures admission at IIITH of up to 20 Lacs (without the need for any security). This can be availed even if the applicant&rsquo;s family has other existing loans.</li><li><p>The alumni of IIIT Hyderabad have set up a fund to support successfully admitted students based on need. The assistance is provided on a pay-it-forward* basis. In a Pay-it-forward scheme, studentw agrees to pay the tuition fees of another student, after they successfully and starts earning.The fund provides the below support</p></li></ol><ul><li><p>Financial support to students whose family income is below INR 8 LPA from the second semester, subject to availability and meeting pre-defined criteria</p></li><li><p>Students above the income threshold can also apply and may be granted tuition support if their case is found by a committee to merit the same</p></li></ul>
