In Doon business school. PGDM has very high fees because a lot of extra certification has been added to this course which is not in MBA as well as ac classroom is for PGDM , and many uncountable facility which is only for PGDM. This makes the PGDM fees high. As far as concern PGDM guys have more practical approach then MBA we have more industrial trips then MBA. In placement also PGDM gets privilege of being a PGDM which is AICTE approved course.
  • Under the MBA program, management have included a international tour for 7-10 days. That's why the fee is different. Else there's nothing much in difference. Both PGDM and MBA students are allowed to sit for all placement drives.

MBA is a UGC Degree Government aided program, hence the low fees. institutions give it step motherly treatment as they cannot invest in top class Faculty. PGDM is not aided by Government, so B-schools can provide top Faculty and latest tech investments to deliver an innovative and contemporary program. Hence placements are far better for PGDM programs. the Top 50 B-schools are all top for their PGDM programs barring the odd exception like JBIMS,
