Why is the fee structure of BCA higher in KIIT as compared to other colleges?

There are several reasons: 1. KIIT is a private university and dream of Mr Samanta who hails from a very poor family. When nobody was ready to take the land on the area of Bhubaneswar, he took the challenge and developed the whole area. Cost of setting infrastructure is very high. Being a private university it does not get any grants from UGC or MHRD 2. KISS is another arm of Dr. Achyuta Samanta where 25000+ tribal children get free education upto PhD level free of cost including their food and accommodation, naturally, the cost is covered by paid students of KIIT. 3. KIIT does not make any profit in fact it is under almost 300 crore deficit every year and surviving on donations and help from well-wishers still. It never advertise itself as a not for profit university like the blacklisted and criminal background Amity University do. I can tell this with confidence because I have been to their campus have mentored KIIT MBA students and have seen KISS. If you compare the fee for Amity is 72000 per semester, Christ is 115000 per year and KIIT is 96000 per semester and it is not a major difference.
