Why is there a higher expectation from engineering students at the time of college selection to pursue an MBA abroad?

Hey there, The straight answer is join engineering to feel the thrill. I bet you, you will get the answer yourself. An obvious reason is that most bright minds are found in IITs, NITs, IIITs and BITS because one has qualified JEE Advanced (a big deal) and JEE Mains to get into these colleges. Apart from this, in engineering, during the first year, all the streams have same subjects, mostly, like physics, chemistry, etc. Rest of the years subjects are related to the stream which a student carries on in addition to the additional subjects (mostly one or two). One may even get management, German or French as additional subjects. That's the diversity of the study part. Most importantly, engineering students are often considered to have an upper hand in management. It is so because, during the course of 4 years, you get to see a lot of fests (technical, sports and cultural) every year managed by students themselves. Moreover, in colleges, you will get a hell lot of clubs according to your interests. So, one ends up packed throughout the year. According to me, it might be the reason.
