Experience absolutely helps an MBA class in 3 ways. In recruiting, in small group settings, and in full-class discussions. First, people very rarely talk about their school experience when recruiting for jobs. Cover letters, resumes, and interviews all center around your work experience. If you came directly from undergrad and didn't have years of accomplishments to talk about, you are likely to appear to be a very weak candidate and would struggle to find a solid job out of business school.
