Trinity College Dublin has produced some of the world's famous personalities such as writers namely Oscar Wilde, Samuel Beckett, the political thinker Edmund Burke, scientists William Rowan Hamilton and Ernest Walton, etc. It is one of the oldest universities in Ireland. It is highly ranked and for 2025 rankings, it ranks among the Top 200 Universities in the World. TCD is the 31st most international university in the world according to Times Higher Education 2024.
