never go to mits. its a jail for women..In this era of advancement and so called equality of both the sexes, women university like MITS are a step backwards. Its like subtle form of torture to women of India. this torture is sugarcoated in such grandeur and glamour that parents and ppl fail to see the downside of this university. One of my cousin is there and also several frnds of mine.some highlights are... 1.Very restricted lifestyle and social cutoff. 2.U will be allowed out of campus only on weekends for limited time. 3.Its a rural area so nothing for recreation.No movies, resturants etc. 4.Sikar is the closest city but u wl face difficulty in commuting in buses and that too travelling alone will be un-nerving and un comfortable.But as i said earlier, in the first place u wl not be allowed to go out. 5.Forget non-veg, even onion and garlic are not used in food. 6.Its not indicated in rankings of any leading magazines.not even in top 100 or what so ever. 7.they practically admit anyone..so there will not be challenging education environment. check http://bit.ly/Ws0mkh co-ed education creates more healthy and competitive environment. Its placements are not so great.in siksha.com it says heigest package of 3.50 lacs. 8.So, u will be locked in a palatial jail with beautiful gardens and vast expanse of wilderness for 4 years. rationalize urself and decide. This is democracy not taliban!
