Why oil catches fire whereas water does not catch fire? due to which property of oil it happens? explain.

Beacause Oil is a hydrocarbon whereas water is not. Hydrocarbons are molecules that contain hydrogen and carbon and come in various lengths and structures, from straight chains to branching chains to rings.
