Greetings Jain! PGDM is costlier than MBA because it is more affiliated with AICTE and it has the following advantages that a MBA degree might not give:
In IFIM there's a 100% record every year. Companies like Fujitsu, cub, icici come for the recruitment. We have PGDM general where there are streams like marketing, operations, hr , finance, and we also have PGDM finance which is a core subject. Lots of activities are there, we've both industry mentor and professor mentor for 10 students per group. There's a subject called pep (personality enhancement program) which helps students to enhance their presentation skills, public speaking, w...more -
Greetings Jain
IFIM has unique programs 1. Personality Enhancement Program 2. Social Immersion Program 3. Mentorship and 4. Industry Internship Program.
PGDM is costlier because the above mentioned unique programs are for PGDM students and there many other additional benefits. The course structure for MBA students will not be changed as frequent as PGDM and the faculty requirement is also different for both the courses.
PGDM will have access to Bloomberg terminal and Finance lab, so it is costlier.
All the best. It's worth to invest your money in PGDM.
