    The full form of SBI PO is the State Bank of India Probationary Officer. SBI PO Recruitment Exam is an annual officer recruiting exam conducted annually by the State Bank of India for its various vacancies across the Branches. You will be given the appointment letter which contains the details of your salary breakdown, the branch where you are being posted, etc.

    SBI PO exam is conducted to select eligible candidates for Probationary Officers posts. Selected candidates are offered a handsome salary package. The basic salary is INR 41,960 (with four advance increments). SBI PO pay scale is INR 36,000-1490/7, 46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840. The selection process comprises prelims, Mains, psychometric test, group exercises and interview. The final selection is done based on the Mains exam, group exercises and interview.
