Why should curd and sour substances not be kept in brown and copper vessels?

Hi Happy, Curd and sour substances should not be kept in brass and copper as curd and sour substances are acidic in nature and react with the metallic surface of the brass and copper to form some toxic compound which may be unfit for health. All the best.
