Thapar is a good choice because of its strong academics, good placements, experienced faculty, and active campus life. A friend of mine studied there and always said the exposure and learning opportunities were really worth it.

The institute also has a strong industry connect and placement support, so if you're ready to put in the effort, it's definitely worth considering.

Honestly, for BTech CSE I'd pick Thapar. It has a stronger engineering reputation, better placement opportunities and a stronger peer group overall. Chitkara is decent too, but if you have both options, I'd go with Thapar.
