Hi Pratap,
If you are an engg & technology graduate, and are keen to pursue higher education in same field then M.tech would be the best option. There is no such compulsion under which you have to take M.tech, its will all depend on your area of interest and educational qualification.

there is a option after complete ur mtech degree for research. also mtech degree is also a research oriented course.
