National Entrance Screening Test NEST is conducted jointly by National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and Mumbai University - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai.
The exam is conducted in order to provide admission to candidates in five-year integrated M.Sc programme in basic sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics) offered at both NISER and UM-DAE CEBS.
If you want to apply to any of the courses mentioned above, you will be required to appear for the NEST exam. Regards. -

LPU NEST is basically National Level Entrance exam which is for the student for the eligiblity and scholarship purpose, One more thing LPU NEST is conducted for various programs of Engineering, LAW, Agriculture, Design, Hotel Management in which LPU NEST is a mandatory exam to take admission in these programs like B.Tech, M.A. B.Pharma BPT B.Sc.
