Why should international students choose Western Sydney University?

Yes, Indian Students are eligible for the scholarships, and the University offers scholarships only on a merit basis for UG and PG courses. These scholarships is under the name  UWS Global Scholarships for Undergraduate and Postgraduate, the following are the eligibility criteria:

Undergraduate scholarships: The scholarship is worth £1500 annually for Undergraduate studies.

Postgraduate Scholarship: There will be a discount on tuition fees for self-funded students who have completed one year of undergraduate study at the University of West Scotland and wish to progress to full-time postgraduate study.

Sports Scholarships: The University also provides Sports scholarships to support students with potential success in sports. There are three levels of scholarships available: 

• Gold for National or International standards
• Silver for national or international standards
• Broze for regional standards but with success at the national level.

The University offers and supports international students with scholarships and financial aid, as mentioned above.

The University of West Scotland offers various courses for international students such as Business Management, Computer science, Music, health services, Creative Industries (such as art, design and Media), Engineering and Education etc. Within the broad areas, there are many specific available courses at the University of west Scotland. Many of these courses require different entry requirements, and check out their requirements is highly suggested before applying to the program.

Also, the University helps International Students throughout their visas, English Language skills and other cultural adjustments. Their main aim is employability and giving career support to their students.

International students are not required to submit the Genuine Student Assessment form but they should if it is required. To complete the form, the student must fulfill the following:

·       The university officials must conduct an interview with the prospective international student

·       The student’s answers to interview questions which are to be written in the notes section

·       The student must determine if the answer is satisfactory and then they must complete the Assessment Process and Risk Assessment section to find out the level of risk the applicant might pose to the university

·       Wherever indicated, the student must sign and add the date of the questionnaire.
