Why students from SMU/IGNOU are specifically excluded in job letters ? I have number of times recieved such job letters.

I have number of times recieved job letters where HRs of companies have specifically stated that if you have done degrees from SMU/IGNOU then please don't apply for this job. I am many times surprised, how they can exclude so specifically, especially when these universities have atleast got recogn
