PGDM, as the name suggests, is a diploma and not a regular degree. Its syllabus focuses on practical aspects of management and is very concise.
MBA is a regular Masters degree with benefits of both, being superior to diploma and being a PG course. Its course is also very elaborate. Hence, more merits mean more fee. Also, MBA students are placed more easily than PGDM.

MBA is just a university traditional degree but PGDM is purely design by the university. According to the demand by the industry, most of the MBA colleges or universities charges more for the PGDM degree. G L Bajaj charges only 3 lakhs for MBA with scholarship, but charges 5.50 lakh for PGDM degree.

MBA in Alliance University gives you an option for semester exchanges to colleges abroad whereas in PGDM you dont't have that. The MBA course also has a SAP certification.
