Why this 'kolaveri di' about exams and results?

Going down the memory lane, I still remember that day when my exams got over. Everyone was happy, finally they were experiencing freedom. But I was not enjoying at all because of my bad performance in the exams. Though I too wanted to be a part of the fun but could not, as thinking about the result ... View More

I completely agree with you Aneeket These Higher or Senior Secondary Exams are not the End but only the means to reach your Goal. and due to the globalization there are several career options opening up even for students who are not the front frontbenchers.

Good times & Bad times are the part & parcel of life.
It usually happens with students after exams get over and bringing good performance results takes a burden on them. Good performance in study life will open new path for career growth and it would be just a criteria to enter new world of studies in which a student desires.
But a bad performance will not necessarily close the new path for them.
It is very important to know that Bookish knowledge is good & useful in Schools & Colleges but its almost useless in Practical life unless one may make a good use of it.
Practical life is altogether a different scenario where smart & confident peo

I just strongly believe in one thing that ONE must leave the past and let it not become a hurdle in the present and future growth. Add positivity in him/herself and learn the lesson from the mistakes committed in the past.

aru.chopra Students should not be depressed about their bad performance in exams, rather they should try to evaluate and find out what exactly went wrong, and once the reason is known ,students should make their efforts, to not to repeat the mistakes.

My magic word to my friends would be: Failure shouldn't be treated as the end of everything. Treat them as the stepping stones, learn to stand up on them and be prepared for the next test. Try to learn from your mistakes and gain experience from it. Because the secret of success is a simple formula: failure (stones)+ experience (cement)= foundation for success!!

I would say "Past is past", forget it as you success may be delayed and work for the future which is very bright standing and welcoming you. Acknowledged with hardwork and sincerity and dedication. Any attempt with realisation fetches better results.
Kovaleri (Passion/ Craze) for learning and development is a want and many a times a unrealised need.
Counselling and Guidance will help better in grooming them back to normal and motivation to such failed students should be top priority.

aru.chopra Absolutely correct if the student is not brilliant in studies that is not the end of the road, they try to know in which field they are best and accordingly they can opt for the course.

Hi, Thanks @Aneeket for tagging me. a very important discussion indeed. For such students, it is our (Social circle and immediate family members) responsibility to accept the reality in a sporting manner. To the students." If everyone gets 1st rank then who will get the 2nd or 3rd or 4th rank, so on and so forth. Someone has to come first and others to follow. It is not the end of the road and will get further more opportunities to come out with flying colors." As far as results are concerned." Hope for the Best and Prepare for the Worst".
