This provides an opportunity to learn some of the civil engineering practices and emerging technologies which cant be taught theoretically. Career oriented Software training in project labs is given. To work in this profession, you are supposed to be familiar with software like Auto CAD, STAAD Pro, BHIM etc. Talking in terms of placements, the Civil Department has very good placement records and good infrastructure companies visit their campus like Pinnacle, JARO, Top Survey India PVT Ltd. etc. The Civil Engineering department has a good infrastructure in terms of modern equipment and advanced laboratories which will facilitate practical work in conjunction with theory courses. The faculty of the Civil Department continues to strive loftier by exploring new frontiers of knowledge, imparting the latest technical knowledge to the students and conducting high quality of research.

The Civil engineering department is committed to providing excellence in classroom infrastructure, enrichment of the academic and professional experience of students, outreach to the engineering community and society, and advancements in Civil Engineering. Majority of the Civil engineering graduates have been selected by leading national and multinational firms and research institutes. Many of them have also selected in AEn, JEn in Central and state departments; and some of students have gone for higher studies in the country and abroad.

Civil Engineering department of VGU, Jaipur is best because of its well-equipped labs, high experienced and qualified faculty members. The well known name for CIVIL, Prof. Dr. M. Raisinghani former Director MNIT, Former Principal MBM college Jodhpur, and also former Principal of various colleges is our Vice Chairperson. So its a good opportunity to choose Civil branch under the guidance of such person in VGU, Jaipur.
