Vivekananda Institute of Technology has Excellent infrastructure and well-equipped labs in the Department of Mechanical Engineering also where mechanical engineering students participate in prestigious SAE BAJA event. It is the institute where students manufactured a portable unit to sanitize students and staff in the wake of COVID 19 even before lockdown. The students of the department manufactured an Aloe Vera peeling machine and later trained nearby farmers to use it. Is always to push the students to think for research and innovation so that they can be prepared not only for a good placement opportunity but also be prepared to think about industrial startups. The Robotics club adds a extra feature to Mechanical students because about all industries prefer students with Mechanical branch with a knowledge of robotics. Enfield the well known Bullet Motorcycle brand has established a training center in Mechanical dept. VIT. The campus has also Rajasthan first Industrial Robotics Lab established by Mitsubishi Japan.
