Will 80%ile be acceptable by govt. colleges or not for engineering admission?
I haven't got 75% in my class 12th board, but in my WB board result I have 80%. Also, this percentile is calculated while adding one additional subject and removing maths which is not considered for 75% criteria.

For NIT/IIIT via JEE Main, 75% in Class 12 or top 20 percentile is needed with Maths included. Removing Maths to calculate percentage won't meet eligibility. Your 80 percentile (without Maths) won't qualify for NIT, but you may still get state government engineering colleges via WBJEE if PCM marks
