will a B.A ECO(hons) from a good college of DU fetch mehigh salaried job. are my career plans okay??

i am a science stream (phy, chem, maths, eng, eco) student .will an undergraduate degree in Econ HONS. frm top colleges of Du like srcc, lsr ip, miranda house and the like fetch me a good paid job immediately.I plan to get a MBA or GBO after 2-3 years of working Am i planning it right??
