Will a break of 1 year hamper the admission process? Last year I took a break for CAT preparation but was unable to crack it.

I did BE and have 2 years work experience in production.

No, it will not hamper your admission. Prepare well for the GD-PI-WAT round. Be prepared for justifying the reason for the break in a well-versed manner and all shall be well! All the best!
