Yes, a low JEE MAINS score doesn't restrict your chances of securing a seat at Chandigarh University. While higher JEE ranks can help you qualify scholarships under the JEE based scheme, students with lower score -or even those without JEE - can still gain admission through CUCET. Chandigarh University doesn't impose rigid cut-offs for admission based solely on JEE percentile. Instead, it evaluates the students through multiple entry routes to ensure merit and potential are given due importance. Even if your JEE rank is beyond 1,25,000 or your percentile is low, you can appear for CUCET and apply for your preferred engineering branch. T

Yes, a low JEE Main score does not disqualify a candidate from securing admission in B.E. programs at Chandigarh University. The university does not impose rigid JEE cutoffs for general admission. Students with lower JEE percentiles can still apply and obtain a seat based on availability, programme demand, and alternative assessment routes such as CUCET. Hi.

CU doesn't rely only on JEE Main scores for admissions. Their primary admission pathway is through their own entrance test — CUCET (Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test).

If your JEE rank is not strong, you can appear for CUCET — many students do that as alternate route.

As per recent info, students with a valid JEE Main rank up to 50,000 may get exemption from giving CUCET. But this means if your JEE score is lower (i.e. outside that top‑50,000 band), you must give CUCET.
