Will a student be eligible to sit for campus placements if he has scored 51% in class 10th, 72% in class 12th and 70% in B.Tech CSE?

    This depends upon the relative percentages of your peers in your branch. The companies usually ask the placement committee to provide the list of top 20 or 30 students (depending upon how many they want to recruit). Now, if your college has one placement policy, then you'll have to wait for your chance. Some companies also set a bar for 10th and 12th percentage while some companies don't. So its dependent upon company policies and how well your placement coordinator can negotiate with the company.

    Yes, students are eligible to sit for campus placement according to you with 70% in B.Tech CSE. Maximum companies allow the candidate with 65% and above in that semester. In most of the cases, written test and interview is what decides. Thank you.

    Just don't worry. Placements will be based on how you face the interview panel. Your resourcefulness and ability for quick response are normally the key factors. Of course academic record does play an important role.
