This depends upon the relative percentages of your peers in your branch. The companies usually ask the placement committee to provide the list of top 20 or 30 students (depending upon how many they want to recruit). Yes, students are eligible to sit for campus placement according to you with 70% in B.Tech CSE. Maximum companies allow the candidate with 65% and above in that semester. In most of the cases, written test and interview is what decides. Thank you.

Hello Neeraj, Just don't worry. Placements will be based on how you face the interview panel. Your resourcefulness and ability for quick response are normally the key factors. Of course academic record does play an important role.
