Will appearing for next year's CAT be ok if don't score well in this year's CAT?

I will be having a year gap after completion of my B.Com.

Hi, Don't worry, be happy. You can appear as many times for it, no restriction is there. The basic requirement is you should clear your final year with at least 50%. All the best.

Will I face any problem while getting admission next year? I am a B.Com graduate. I have 1 year of gap to prepare for CAT exam. I don't have any work experience.

Your present year's CAT score does not have any impact on your next year's CAT. So, you need not to be worried about it. The applicant should hold the degree with 50% aggregate marks in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification. Those in the final year of degree course

Yes, you can appear next year for CAT. But during internship and placement, interview questions will be asked about your gap in education. So prepare a good answer for that. Investing one more year with proper planning for preparation will improve your score and will help you to get into top B-Schoo
