Will B.Sc in computer science be a helpful course for me for IAS exam?

IAS and B.Sc computer science are both different subject. Preparing for IAS involves lot of general studies and also you can choose one specialization after the preliminary. It's just a matter of fact that both the subject are not related too much. Any graduation is required for writing civil servic

B.Sc CS studies may not directly help you in cracking Civil Service Examination. Computer science is not a subject in the optional subject list.

You may opt for B.Tech Electrical, Mechanical or Civil so that you have a back up plan. You can change stream and for BA Hons Economics and MBA also.
