Will CLAT PG be conducted twice a year?

CLAT does not publish a fixed number for this topic. It is tested within the wider Legal Reasoning section. That section carries around 25% weightage, with 30-40 questions depending on the year.

Questions come as passages with a legal principle and a set of facts. You must apply the principle correctly. This includes spotting exceptions and handling changed facts.

Learn the core principles well. Practise passage-based questions daily. Revise landmark judgments for their reasoning, not their names. Mock tests also help build speed.

A.P. Bhardwaj's Legal Reasoning book is widely used, since it covers constitutional law with clear principles and practice passages. Reading the Bare Act of the Indian Constitution alongside it also helps build a stronger base.

Start early, alongside your other Legal Reasoning topics. Strong basics make it easier to handle passages with changed facts and competing interests later on.
