Will Diploma in computer engineering from Indian Govt. polytechnic be considered equivalent to an Associate's Degree for studying BS in US?

Some students manage to get before their under-graduation begins? if yes, how will it benefit me while studying in the USA? if not, then was it a waste of time, pursuing BS from USA?

Hi Satguru, A diploma will be considered for BS from USA. You must however also submit SAT or ACT scores. Certain universities will require you to get your documents evaluated by evaluation organizations such as WES. So you must check university websites carefully. Also prepare for TOEFL. Diplom
