Will doing M.Sc.(Physics) thru Dist. Education serve any purpose in making a career in teaching Phy.?After doing B.Sc. with 70% I went for a technical job. But now I want to make a career in Phy.I know that dist. learning has less reputation but will passing NET with good marks enhance its value?

Dear Nik, Even the Distance Learning has good value. And your Work Experience add an extra benefit in it.

This is a wrong assumption that distance learning has lesser value
For teaching job, you should be post graduate with nET/ SET and if you have higher ability and percentage than any other candidate against a vacancy opening, you will surely get job
