No, having backlogs in graduation will not affect your chances of getting into an IIM if you scored well in the CAT. The basic requirement for admission to IIM is a qualifying CAT score with a high percentile. If you obtained a CAT score of more than 95 percentile, your backlogs will not affect your

No. Do students with backlogs (cleared) have a chance of getting into one of the top 4 Iims or FMS XLRI? So to answer your question, YES, students with backlogs do get through.
