Marketing as a field has broadened up over the years. There are various verticals in the field.
Although, sales plays a major and most important role. A sales profile is highly paid and growth is immense in the field.
CEO of companies emerge out from top sale people.

Almost all the sales job after MBA in Marketing are target based only. There are very few jobs and companies which offers non target based jobs.
