Will I be able to get admission in Sastra University for ECE or mechanical engineering with a rank of 1458 in stream-1?

Hello Hari Prakash,
You will be called either on June 19 or 20 which means you will have the good chances to get a top course.
As per my view, you can get ECE and mechanical engineering easily but this also depends on the seats available. You can try it in the counselling.
