To be included on the merit list, candidates must pass both parts. Students who clear the cutoff and pass both parts A and B are selected. It facilitates students' entrance. The candidate will not be considered for further consideration if they miss the cutoff. Students who met the cutoff will receive a call for additional instructions.

The candidates are required to clear both Parts in order to be in the merit list. Students who pass both part A and part B get selected if they clear the cut off. It helps stduents get admission. The Part A cut-off marks will be used to shortlist candidates. Part B answer booklets will be evaluated only for shortlisted candidates. So, if the candidate fails to meet the qualifying cut-off criteria, his or her Part B answer boolets will not be evaluated. Consequently, the candidate will not be assigned a merit rank. It may be noted that to participate in the UCEED 2025 counseling process, the candidate needs to have a merit rank. The cut-off marks for Part A will be released around the 2nd week of February 2025.
