To be included on the merit list, candidates must pass both parts. Students who clear the cutoff and pass both parts A and B are selected. It facilitates students' entrance. The candidate will not be considered for further consideration if they miss the cutoff. Students who met the cutoff will receive a call for additional instructions.

The candidates are required to clear both Parts in order to be in the merit list. Students who pass both part A and part B get selected if they clear the cut off. It helps stduents get admission. If the candidate miss the cut off he or she is not considered for further process. Students who have cleared the cutoff will be called for further procedure.

  • The Part A cut-off marks will be used to shortlist candidates. Part B answer booklets will be evaluated only for shortlisted candidates. So, if the candidate fails to meet the qualifying cut-off criteria, his or her Part B answer boolets will not be evaluated. Consequently, the candidate will not be assigned a merit rank. It may be noted that to participate in the UCEED 2025 counseling process, the candidate needs to have a merit rank. The cut-off marks for Part A will be released around the 2nd week of February 2025.
