  • No. If the candidates meet the VIT cutoff, then they will not be guaranteed admission. However, if the candidates meet the VITEEE cutoff, then they have higher chances of being allotted into their preferred course and campus. During the allotment process, the authorities will consider other factors along with the VITEEE cutoff for admissions, such as the candidate's category, total number of seats available for admission and more. Candidates are advised to check the previous years' cutoff trends so that they are able to make the correct choices for the counselling.

No, a candidate will not be guaranteed admission in VIT he /she clears the VIT cut off. The admission is based on not just on the cut off, but the category in which the candidate falls, difficulty level of the examination, the number of applicants who have registered themselves for the examination and the previous year trends for the cut off as well. So yes, it is safe to say that only clearing the cut off will not guarantee or admission in VIT, however scuring above the cutoff will increase your chances in doing so.

No, candidates would not be assured of admission even if they achieve the VIT 2024 cutoff. On the other hand, candidates have a better chance of getting into their desired course and campus if they meet the VITEEE 2024 cutoff. In addition to the VITEEE cutoff for admissions, the authorities will take into account several considerations throughout the allotment process, including the category of the candidate, the total number of seats available for admission, and more. To mark the right decisions for the counseling, candidates are encouraged to review the cutoff trends from previous years.

Yes, only the VITEEE scores will be used to prepare the cutoff. Since no other entrance exam score will be accepted for admission, the authorities will prepare the cutoff using the VITEEE scores. While preparing the cutoff, the scores are an integral factor.

After the students are allotted seats, they will have to confirm their VITEEE admission. The tuition fee has to be paid and the students will have to report to their institute to verify their documents. The original documents along with a set of photocopies have to submitted for verification. If the admission is not confirmed, the students will lose their allotted seats.
