Will I be selected if I scored 61 marks in JEE advanced 2017? I belong to SC category.
I have scored 16 marks in physics, 6 marks in chemistry and 39 marks in mathematics.

Yes, cutoff for SC category will be around 40 marks. So, you will qualify JEE Advanced 2017. Coming to the admission part, chances are there for you, if cutoff will go down .Wait till the last round or spot round .All the best.

Your marks in JEE Advanced are not a cause of worry much as your PCM marks. I think you have 2 backlogs. First thing, you should do is to clear these backlogs either before getting admission or along with doing course. As you come from SC category, with 61 marks, I can't assure you t
