Will I face any difficulty with application process while applying for financial aid and colleges abroad?

I am student living in Mumbai. My dad lives and earns in Dubai. While applying for abroad, will the location difference cause any inconvenience to my application process (which includes financial aid)? I am referring to US universities here.

Whichever university you wish to apply, write to the international admission officer about every query you have to make your application complete. There should not be any issue if your father is working in dubai. Financial aid will depend on your declaration of finances.
