Will I face any problem after completing B.Tech from LPU as it is not AICTE approved?

    LPU does not require an AICTE approval since it is already approved by UGC, a statutory body of the Government of India. This is because universities do not require AICTE approval compulsorily.
    AICTE approval is not required for a university to run a course in technical education as has been held by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in its judgment CWP2056 of 1999 titled BHARATHIDASAN UNIVERSITY & ANR. V/S ALL INDIA COUNCIL FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION & ORS, and various other cases
    UGC-approved is better as it will be internationally recognized. AICTE is some kind of govt recognition but it will have no reciprocal approval internationally. AICTE App

    Lovely Professional University is recognised by many Accreditation councils of India & thoroughly recognised by UGC in 2006. AICTE approval is not required for a university to run a course in technical education as has been held by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in its judgment CWP2056 of 1999 titled BHARATHIDASAN UNIVERSITY & ANR.     A University needs UGC recognition that LPU have, AICTE approval is required only if a university runs its any other branch or collage.

    According to Supreme Court ruling AICTE approval is required for technical institutes and not required by universities. LPU is approved by UGC.
