Will I get a job after clearing the APTET exam only?

Candidates will be able to apply for the recruitment exams once they have passed the exam. Candidates who pass the APTET recruitment exam will be hired as primary or upper primary teachers at APTET institutions.</p>

A clearance of the APTET exam gives an opportunity to apply for teaching jobs in government schools. The APTET is followed by a separate recruitment process that is conducted by the state government or a school board. It may include the utilization of various tools like written assessments, interviews, and ranking procedures. Candidates with an already teaching background or with essential qualifications are more likely to be given a higher chance in the selection process.</p>

Qualifying APTET exam does not guarantee a job to the candidate. It is only one of the eligibility criteria for the teacher recruitment process. After qualifying the exam the candidates will become eligible to apply for the recruitment tests. The candidates who will qualify for the APTET recruitment exam will get a job in APTET schools as a primary teacher of upper primary teacher.
