Chandigarh university definitely provides the UGC approved degree for all the courses as the university complies with all the regulations enforced by the UGC and all the governing bodies alike. NAAC A+ accreditation provides all the more credence and relevance to all the courses on offer here.

    Dear Bhavuk,
Chandigarh University is a full-fledged university established by the Punjab State Legislature and is included in the list of universities maintained by University Grants Commission under Section 2 (f) with the right to confer degrees as per Section 22 (1) of the UGC Act, 1956. For further reference, please follow the link: https://www.ugc.ac.in/oldpdf/consolidatedlistofalluniversities.pdf, to view the UGC list of universities wherein Chandigarh University is listed under serial no. 571. Add on to this Chandigarh University is also NAAC A+ accredited University, thus you do not have to "wait" for any UGC compliance!

You have to check the validity of a particular course/degree at UGC.ac.in as they mention the status there. Any technical course also needs approval from AICTE so you must see that as well. Until the course is not completely approve, you can't be sure.

Chandigarh University is a deemed university and is recognised by UGC. Also, NAAC accreditation with A+ has added much more to its decoration. UGC may visit anytime to the university but will stick with their recognition and approval. No need to worry for an approved degree.
