First of all, you have to decide in which college you want to get admission i.e., government or private. You can get admission in private colleges easily. If you are near GNE, Ludhiana then you can go there for counselling that is held in June-July.

For EEE with 50 marks in JEE mains unfortunately you'll only get private colleges.
Also, you can choose for colleges like VIT Vellore, SRM or other private institutes that might offer you admission in EEE.
If you are going for a private college make sure that the college reputation is good and do check the placement record. Talk to some senior students personally to get the insight of what's happening in the college. Don't fall for the catchy advertisements.
    Trust me. They all lie.
If you are ambitious, you can also plan for a drop and prepare well to get in a good NIT.
